Physical description

A wooden racquet, with a slotted, fishtail handle. Inscription along neck and stem of obverse: VENUS. Inscription across neck of reverse: HARRY C. LEE & CO/NEW YORK. Inscriptions featuring manufacturing and patent details situated along the sides of the stem. Materials: Wood, Glue, Lacquer, Ink, String, Gut, Metal
