Physical description

A wooden, transitional flat-top racquet with a laminated convex throat. Decal profile bust image across throat on obverse is of a male North American native. Inscription across right side of stem is largely lost, but originally read: THE BRIDGEPORT GUN IMPLEMENT CO./NEW YORK, U.S.A. Hand carved name along stem on obverse: LOLA DEVALE.
