A wooden racquet with enamel-painted shoulders, throat, and stem, and leather handle grip. Amongst a green and yellow background are a number of decals advertising Slazenger, and the model type. Decals across throat, and along stem on obverse: ROYAL CROWN/SLAZENGERS. Decal on throat on reverse: CORONATION/MODEL. Decal along right side of stem: SLAZENGER/THE CHOICE OF CHAMPIONS/SLAZENGERS. Racquet may have been issued to commemorate the coronation of either Kings Edward VIII (Jan 1936) or George VI (Dec 1936).
