Physical description

A Bancroft real tennis racquet, with traditional gut stringing, lobbed head, solid convex throat, double screwed shaft (dowels), and long, fine grooved handle. Bancroft logo, and wreathed black 'B' trademark feature across the throat. The inside of the base of the head is reinforced with hide. The throat is reinforced with white painted fibreglass.
