Physical description

A Wright & Ditson 'All American' model wooden racquet with open throat and octagonal handle with spiral wrapped grip tape. String whipping around shoulders and string whipping and plastic reinforcement around base of throat. Leather end wrap and butt cap with maker name and racquet care instructions. On obverse and reverse, manufacturer's name is printed as decal across base of head. Obverse and reverse both feature model name and eagle symbol across shaft. On one side of shaft:'WRIGHT & DITSON/MAKERS/MADE IN U.S.A.' and on other side of shaft:'PAT. NO.1664466'. Shield design printed on plastic reinforcement on both obverse and reverse. Materials: Wood, Metal, Lacquer, Glue, Ink, Leather, String, Plastic, Nylon
