A Wright and Ditson tennis racquet, with: laminated convex throat; single screw through shaft; and, fine-grooved, thick octagonal handle. Decal inscription across throat on obverse: WRIGHT/& DITSON/BOSTON/MASS./U.S.A. Model name across crown on obverse is illegible, but model is most likely a 'Longwood'.
