A Spalding 'Lakeside no.5' model tennis racquet, featuring concave throat & fine-grooved octagonal wooden handle. Has string whipping and plastic reinforcements around shoulders. Plastic reinforcement around shaft too. Also has a leather end wrap and leather butt cloth. Model name printed on throat on obverse, and manufacturer logo printed on throat on reverse.
