A 'Birmal' model tennis racquet manufactuerd by Birmingham Aluminium Casting (1903) Co. Ltd. Has open throat and wood handle wrapped with leather, and with leather end wrap. String whipping seals leather onto handle at bottom of shaft. Metal strings. Manufacturer name embossed on one edge of shaft. Model name and words: 'ALL METAL' embossed on other edge of shaft.
