A Slazenger (UK) 'Lawn Tennis Ball' box. Printed on lid: 'MADE ENTIRELY IN ENGLAND / OFFICIALLY AUTHORISED BY THE LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION'. On lid, front and rear of box is printed: '1938'. Colour advertisement adhered to underside of lid. Contains six unbranded white balls, probably original. Inscribed in pencil 'Dudley Howard Pratt' and 'WHP Adams'.
