Physical description

A wooden Horsman 'Model G' tennis racquet, with oriental gut (silk) strings, laminated convex throat, and, a rounded handle. Inscription across crown, on obverse: MODEL G. Horsman 'Centaur' trademark features on throat, on obverse. On throat, on reverse, is a moon-face sticker with inscr. 'THANKS' across top. Carved inscr. along shaft on obverse: ELMER. Materials: Wood, Metal, Lacquer, Ink, Glue, Silk
