Framed collage featuring a letter written by Tilden to Marion Anderson, associated envelope postmarked March 6, 1949, and a book page with reproduced photograph of young Tilden playing tennis in a stadium. Page has signature by Tilden in blue ink. Letter thanks recipient for her letter and gives message of encouragement for her son 'Brat' (Arthur Anderson).
