This book was donated by Principal R E Thwaites to the Ballarat College Library, in the final year of his tenure (1933-45).

Significance

Example of ongoing community support of the school. The Weatherly Library was opened in 1936 and its collection significantly established by donation or bequest of old collegians and members of the college community and associates.
