Handmade model of typical camp hut with section of roof removed to show interior. Comprises 4 rooms with beds, bedroom furniture (suitcases, wardrobes, blankets, pillows, sheets). Has central light in each room. 2 windows in front wall, steps to entrance doors. Roof made with match sticks and covered with paper.

Tatura Rural Services operated in Tatura for many years and was located in Ross Street, virtually opposite the water tower. Business was owned by Bill Brown and later sold to Ritchie Trevaskis.
