The material contained in this folder has been donated to the Museum, or collected by Museum volunteers, and all refers to the conditions and experiences of those internees prior to their internment, while in the camps, and their life after release. The majority of these internees were of Jewish heritage.
Many personal accounts of the internees' experiences have not been published and so this collection provides further information into a well known incident during World War 2..
