Historical information
These two exercise books contain the handwritten history of Methodism in Warrnambool (produced in the 1930s?) by John Ward, an early settler, North Warrnambool shopkeeper and an ex-councillor and mayor. The books contain over 100 original photographs of people connected to the Methodist Church, both clerical and lay, including women, and other Warrnambool photographs. There is also much written material on all the people connected to the church. The books were given to Warrnambool & District Historical Society Inc in March 2013 by the Uniting Church together with a DVD with a digital copy of the photographs and a typed copy of the writings.
