Sauce came in bottles bought at the local grocery store or at a large city store on a shopping expedition. The shape of the bottles changed. The contents were measured in ounces. Physical description

Clear glass sauce bottle. Bottom half is an octagon with 1 side of heavily embossed print in capital letters. These straight sides taper into the opening lip and screw top. The base also has heavy embossing.

Inscriptions & markings

Glass has a few bubbles in it.
Side: 'This Bottle is the Property of / Francis Longmore & Coy Melbourne / Nett Contents 13 ozs.
Base: 'A.G.M.' with '4' below
