Significance

This item is associated with the tradition of sending holiday greeting cards. Traditionally sending or giving themed cards to friends and relatives was a personal and affordable means of communication.

Physical description

A small rectangular folded card. It is cream coloured with gold print and is tied with string. Inside is a greeting with a space for the sender's name. There is also a poem, "Every Happiness", by T. Robey.
