Historical information
This booklet was prepared for the East Gippsland Shire Council in August 2001.
Significance
A Thematic Environmental History identifies how key patterns of development have influenced the culture of the area and the natural and built environment.
The document is not a social history but usually provides the context for future heritage studies and assessments and would provide input to the preparation of a Heritage Action Plan.
