• Calexico Announce Australian Tour Having been announced as part of the Brisbane Festival a couple of weeks ago an Australian tour announcement for Calexico was almost inevitable – we just had to be patient. And lo and behold today we got confirmation that the nu-folk legends would be making their way around the country this September. Calexico will be touring their 2012 album Algiers and have selected some pretty impressive supports for the tour including Depedro (Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth), Tiny Ruins (Byron Bay, Meeniyan, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth), Brighter Later (Meeniyan) and The Quarry Mountain Dead Rats (Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth).
