Pot - Cast Iron, c1900

Significance

Cattlemen on the High Plains used this cooking pot.

Physical description

This circular cast iron pot has three legs. The pot has straight sides, 13 cms high and a diameter of 36 cms. The handle is in two pieces joined with a hinged pin with hooks on the ends. These hooks go through the cast iron protruding "eyes" on each side near the top.
