- Rob Shehadie Rob Shehadie is an Actor, Stand up Comedian, stage and screen Writer and MC. He has starred in the hit TV comedy “FAT PIZZA”, playing the “ROCKY” character for the past 16 years. The FAT PIZZA movie, which Rob also featured in, broke box office records around Australia. He has toured the country with several stage show comedies and made hundreds of appearances at schools, nightclubs and charity events. He has worked with the who’s who of the industry and has been booked for countless private and corporate functions doing stand up comedy. Before turning to acting, Rob was a full time Rugby Union player,representing Australia and New South Wales in schoolboy, under 19′s and under 21′s. He also represented Lebanon in Rugby League. Injury forced Rob to prematurely end his promising football career. Rob Shehadie created the hit comedy LEBANON WITH LOVE parts 1 and 2 which has been one of the most successful and celebrated independent theatre shows Australia has seen in recent years. Performed in Adelaide, Melbourne and Rob’s home town of Sydney the shows proved extremely popular with more than 40 shows performed in Sydney alone. More than 70,000 watched the show at the Enmore Theatre. The DVD has been seen by countless more and has been sent all around the world by enthusiastic Australians. Rob’s hard work and passion on the stage show brought attention to the wider community, with the media covering this successful stage show. Rob was also nominated for a TV WEEK LOGIE in the category “Most Popular New Talent” making him the 1st Australian Lebanese to be nominated for a Logie. He is an ambassador for the charity “SAVE OUR SONS”, “SPECIAL OLYMPICS”, also for the anti-bullying campaign “UNDERDOGS” airing on Australian TV and “NSW MARITIME” promoting jet ski safety via TV radio and online commercials. Rob had a strong influence on this Maritime campaign, with creating the slogan and the script. The campaign went on to win a Government award “NSW Community Education Project of the Year Award”. Rob has been a major part of NRL Rugby League and Cricket Australia, entertaining and as MC to the crowds that attend the games. He has worked for the Parramatta EELS, Canterbury Bulldogs, the NRL 2011/2012/2013/2014 finals series, State of origin and Test matches. He was also part of the Cricket Big Bash League representing Sydney thunder at ANZ Stadium. Rob has also done cameo appearances on “BONDI RESCUE” – Ch 10, “RENOVATION RESCUE” – Ch 9 , “AUSTRALIAN IDOL” – Ch 10, “FOOTY SHOW” – Ch9 , “MUSIC MAX” Foxtel, “SWIFT AND SHIFT” SBS TV, “BOGAN HUNTERS” – ch 7mate, “HOUSOS” SBS TV , “HOUSOS VS THE AUTHORITY” feature film and “FAT PIZZA vs HOUSOS” Feature film. Rob also plays a big role in the hit song by Beau Ryan Featuring Justice Crew “WHERE YOU FROM” released through Sony Music. Rob Shehadie has future projects in the pipeline.
