This bowl was mass produced and was typical of mixing bowls used in homes during the 1950's in the Kiewa Valley.

Significance

Women in the Kiewa Valley cooked at home for their family and for school and church fetes. This bowl was used for cake and biscuit mixtures.

Physical description

A large bone coloured mixing bowl with a lip for pouring. It has diagonal grooves around the outside.
