Beaked Boomerang ornamented with red ochre, fine grooves on obverse side. This is a
special form of Boomerang used in fighting at close quarters or as a missile. The purpose
of the beak is to catch on any defensive object being used by the person under attack.
Used as items of trade - is made by tribes in West Queensland and Northern Central
Australia.
