The church was built in 1910 or 1911 by local labour. It was closed in the early 1970's, perhaps at the time that the Uniting Church was formed. At this time, 1994, it was occupied as a residence. When Alison Cassidy purchased the building in ? to establish 'Yumbada', the 2 porch windows were purchased by the Historical Society for $70 (cost of removal).
