Physical description

A green rectangular paper Australian £1 note. On the obverse is the Australian Coat of Arms and a picture of Queen Elizabeth II facing left. On the reverse are Charles Sturt and Hamilton Hume.
The signatories are: H. C. Coombs, Governor, Reserve Bank of Australia and Roland Wilson, Secretary to the Treasury.
The watermark is Captain Cook in left oval. Behind each signature is ’ONE POUND’.
The serial number is HK 456416
