Weight was used on platform type scale to weigh farm produce
Imperial weights were used prior to 1966 when decimal currency was introduced. Weights were used in stores selling farm produce prior to packaging.
Cast iron weight with a solid base the upper side curved to form two ends which are joined by a cylindrical handle. The ends are embossed on the top.
