Typists used carbon paper to make copies of letters and documents.

Significance

These stencils were used in the SECV office on the Kiewa Hydro Electric Scheme where Jan Burnett worked.

Physical description

Large cream and red cardboard box with 10 Gestetner Typing Plate with carbon and backing sheets. Each group of papers is attached to a single paper with green stripes with random looking holes.
