This bible belonged to Miss Belle Menzies, the first Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union missionary to Korea. Includes some chapter headings in Korean. Belle Menzies was born in a miner's tent on the Ballarat gold-fields, the eldest of ten children. She was baptised at St Andrew's Presbyterian church. Belle became the first secretary when a branch of the newly formed PWMU was started at Ebenezer St John's Presbyterian church Ballarat. In 1891 she was appointed by the PWMU as missionary to Korea.
