Some of the customers in this book are town council baths, Mr Fritz Landmann, St John’s Church, Thomas Redford, Thomas Robinson, Public Works Department, J W Crawley, Jas McLeod, W J Jackman among many more.

Significance

Listing many local people and being associated with a local business, it has social and historical significance.

Large rectangular hard card cover. Maroon, blue and cream patterned card cover with dark green spine binding. Hand written entries listing details of work completed at front and tenders for work at the back of the book. Paper label pasted to front cover “Working account book from 5th December 1899 to August 1918
Tenders at back of book 1900.”
