Historical information

This is a reminder of the Le Couteur family who feature in the history of Warrnambool and district. George Le Couteur, a son of the pioneer Le Couteur family, was a chemist in 19th century Warrnambool and the family had a long association with the Nirranda district. Philip Le Couteur was a Rhodes Scholar in 1908.

Significance

These biros are of some interest as a memento of the reunion held in 1991 of the Le Couteur family descendants

Physical description

These are three black biros without tops. The ‘LeCouteur Reunion’ inscription has been etched in white.
