This is a jewellery box from the Warrnambool business of Stafford, the jeweller. The Staffords shop was at 120 Liebig Street and operated in the 1960s, 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s. The site is still a jewellery shop.
Significance
This box is of minor interest as an example of a small jewellery box from the mid 20th century.
Physical description
This is a small cardboard box covered with salmon-pink paper on the outside. It is empty but once contained an item of jewellery. The pink paper is slightly buffed.
