French and Australian troops at the graveside of 'The Red Baron' Manfred Von Richthofen, Picardie, France, April, 1918. There was dispute over troops of which nation shot down the German fighter ace, though Australian ground troops had the strongest claim. He crashed near the front line and was buried by Australian troops with full Military Honours. The cross is made from a propeller.
