Training Aid, Cardiac Rhythm Simulator, Laerdal, Circa 1980s

Historical information

Used to rain ambulance staff in the detection and management of patient heart rhythms. Simulator was hooked up to operational monitor defribulator and operated so that the monitor defribulator simulated patient rhythms of different types. This particular unit was used at Frankston South and by the Metropolitan Ambulance Service Regional Training Unit. Documentation with item shows that it was serviced and operational in 2005.

Blue plastic carry box containing technical item, instruction manual, menu card and servicing report. 3 separate power cables included.
