Ambulance, Motorcycle, Paramedic, Gilera 100, Circa 2006

Historical information

A very small number of these Gilera 100 three wheeled motorcycles were purchased by Ambulance Victoria so that paramedics could negotiate traffic in built up areas and attend patients more quickly. Unfortunately, the paramedics using these vehicles did not feel they were safe to drive and they were soon withdrawn from service and replaced by conventional BWM motorcycles. This vehicle has only around 4500 kilometres usage on its speedometer. Source Chas Martin curator AHSV
