Philip Nitschke Dicing with Dr DeathThere have only been nine Dr Deaths, but with most dead and the Russian serving 12 life sentences, Australia's euthanasia doctor Philip Nitschke is master of ceremonies.
Dicing with Dr Death takes the audience from Philip's life as a professional hypochondriac to medical school and his ill-fated attempt to cure his apparent leprosy. Medical degree in hand Nitschke storytells the comic side of deciding how to lawfully kill his patients during the Territory’s euthanasia law. The show's climax features the new destiny machine where an audience member is invited to slip off the nasal prongs and give death a go.
Stay 'til the end of the show and leave with your own graduation certificate from the Nitschke School of Suicide.
