This book contains the minutes from the St John's Ambulance Brigade in Warrnambool. The St John's ambulance is a mainly volunteer organisation and world wide charity which assists in areas of first aid,first aid training, health services and disaster relief. There are many small groups around the state of Victoria and are regularly seen at community events providing first aid care when needed.This ledger provides information about the running of the local group , the events and business to which they attended. There are many local sports clubs and events mentioned.

Significance

This minutes book has social and historical significance as it contains names of many local people involved in the organisation during the 1970's and also the issues they faced and work in which they were involved during that period.
