Fly killer liquid was used in manually operated sprays to kill insects in the home. This was used prior to aerosol cans being available.

Physical description

Insecticide. Brown straight sided glass bottle with tin screw lid. Base is rectangular in shape. Two thirds of the way up the sides taper to a round opening. The front and two sides are covered with a yellow paper label which is covered with mostly black writing. The title of the label is Rawleigh's Pyrethro Fly Killer
