In the Athenaeum Hall, Collins-street, on Monday, September 8th, Sir Gavan Duffy delivered a lecture on 'To-day in Europe,' in aid of a charitable object. The hall was overcrowded, 1000 persons at least being present. The Hon. Captain McMahon, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, presided.
