Physical description
Round, flat cardboard box with lid containing silkworm gut ligatures for medical use. Made from white cardboard with red edging. The lid has a paper label adhered to surface printed in red, blue, yellow and gold. A small label is stuck on tip of the larger label.
The underside of the box is plain white but had handwritten words in pencil.

On bottom, handwritten in pencil "Always Boil"
Label on lid "One hundred ligatures Silkworm gut"
