Badge, pressed metal, gold colour. Crown sits over a 6 pointed star shape with centre circle with a snake coiled around an upright rod. Around the centre circle lettering "Royal Australian Army Medical Corps." A small scroll at the bottom has "Daulatum" 2 x lugs & pins on rear.
