Landscape painting of a pine in the Australian bush landscape. Painted just after the devastating Victorian bushfires of 1962. Two figures run down the hill in the foreground. There are hills in the background and the sky is shades of pink and violet. Painted in warm earth tones in a painterly, tonal realist style.
