26 May 1911 - Ballarat Observatory. Mr Brittain living in the caretaker's cottage, and proposes moving his telescope to the observatory

30 June 1911 - H.H. Smith in conjunction with Mr Clegg asked to prepare sketch plans for a new art school

28 July 1913 - Establishment of the Ballarat Junior Technical School

04 April 1913 - Removal of organ and pipes from the former Wesleyan Church

26 June 1914 - Laying of the Foundation Stone for the Ballarat Technical Art School. A photograph was taken featuring Mr Tate, Mr Carew-Smyth and Col. Watson.
