Historical information

This instrument was played in many international competitions outside of Australia. Locally this cornet was locally play by Mr. Stewart Dunn of Angus Street, Clunes, during the 1930's
Mr. Roberts played with the Clunes Brass Band for 35 years and in 1908 was presented with a hot water kettle in recognition of his service to the band.
