IT IS ON PERMAMENT LOAN FROM HEPBURN SHIRE CR. JOHN F. PHILLIPS WAS ELECTED MAYOR OF CLUNES BOROUGH COUNCIL AND SERVED AS MAYOR 1892-3, 1902-3, 1907-8. THE PHOTOGRAPH ORIGINALLY HUNG IN THE CLUNES TOWN HALL DURING HIS TERM OF OFFICE.
