Historical information

This jug would have been used in a household some time in the 20th century. It was probably used to hold milk or could have been used as a vase. It has no known provenance.

Significance

This jug has no known local provenance and may be useful for display. It has been an attractive object.

Physical description

This is a jug with a blue floral pattern covering most of the jug, except for the white handles. The top and base are edged with gold decoration but this is mostly faded away. The top has a fluted edge and there is a small chip on the lip and a crack at the top.
