Cigarette case

Historical information

This cigarette case belonged to Allan Orr of Addington. In later years Mrs Doris Orr used the tin to store hair roller pins. The cigarette case was donated to the museum by their daughter.

Significance

This cigarette case is useful as an example of smoking accessories during a time when smoking was common practice.

Physical description

Silver chromed metal rectangular tin with a hinged lid and raised lip at the front for opening the tin.
