This bank passbook. Tells the story of the finances of the Trustees of the early 1900s 'Stanley Foresters', It also is a reflection of the social history of the groups that existed in Stanley at the turn of the 20th century, and the groups who met at the Stanley Athenaeum.
The Athenaeum also holds the ornate wooden Stanley
Foresters memorial board.
