Mary Card's cottage where she lived with her sister Harriet on the left. Miss Card was a well known writer of works on crochet.
The descriptive text on the reverse of this photograph was hand written by John Lundy-Clarke.
Mary Card who owned the cottage on the left was a journalist whose writings on crochet work was known world wide.
