This is a memorabilium from the 2014 visit to California during the Jade Buddha's world tour, when it was displayed in the Nhu Lai Meditation Temple, San Diego.

Physical description

Green pleated ribbon rosette with plastic badge attached in centre, with an inscription in Vietnamese; includes ribbon tails with golden print in English and Vietnamese; the backing consists of three layers of cardboard stapled with fastener pin.

Inscriptions & markings

On the ribbon tails: "Jade Buddha for Universal Peace at Nhu Lai Meditation Temple 25/01/2014 09/02/2014; Chiem bai phat ngoc hoa binh the gioi Nhu Lai Thien Tu 25/01/2014 09/02/2014"
On the badge: "Nam mo thich ca mau ni phat. Namo Shakyamuni Budsha. Phat ngoc hoa binh the gioi".
