Historical information

Sons Of Temperance was established in the then colony of New South Wales by a Dr Hobbs, Baptist minister.In 1868 a National Division was established. Also known as the Friendly Society.Today the Society exists as the Drug Awareness and relief Foundation (Australia) and National Womens Christian Temperance Union of Australia.

Significance

Sons of Temperance Lara, Lake Division,No. 15. Honor Roll from World War One ( WW1 )

The roll was found under the stage of the old Lara hall.
